It can be tempting to smile and nod, pretending to hear what others are saying to avoid embarrassment or unwanted attention, but it can impact your relationships if you do this too often. Little Rock Audiology would like to advice you to give visual clues to indicate that you are having trouble hearing like cupping your ear with your hand. This lets the speaker know to talk louder but does not interrupt the flow of the conversation.  Please let us know if you’re experiencing difficulty hearing.  We would love to help you.
